Building blocks to horsemanship

With COVID-19 reopening framework, we are currently not accepting requests for our young riders program. Please keep checking back, or look to our social media outlets for the most recent updates to when the program will be re-instated. Thank you.

Our "young rider" lesson program is geared toward children ages 4-7 years of age. Sessions are taught in games/play format, simple rules and safety along with proper positioning are discussed during each ride. At this stage, the main goals for our growing students are comfort, consistency, confidence and safety.

** Once riders have turned 8 years of age or have completed the requirements of this program, students can graduate into the Willow Creek's Riding School.

Sessions are under 1 hour which includes 20 minutes of riding instruction and 30 minutes of grooming/tack up. All lessons are done on a private basis (one on one) to provide less distraction and to ensure the student receives the full benefit of the lesson.
*** Please check in with management, given COVID-19 regulations, we are asking that "young riders" arrive ready to ride for 25 minutes.

  • $35.00 per session. Lessons to be paid in a monthly package (up to 4 lessons)
Payment is due within the first week of the month. We accept cash (in an envelope due to COVID-19), or E-transfers - email: willowcreekhorsemanshipcenter@gmail.com

For all lesson inquiries, please email: info@willowcreekhc.com
